The Flock - Followers of the Lantern

The Sheppard's Followers All have Tales of their own, All of them Sharing a Common Bond...

Let's start with their Story...
The Flock Originally Were a Town full of Ponies in The Southern Regions of Equestria Near The Borderline Between Darkside and The continent We are on....

Originally Settlers Creating a town known as the Black Anvil Settlement. The Land was not as Fruitful as they would've hoped However... and not much could be Grown in the town... However closeby a Forest had been Flourishing.... this Forest however was right on the Border into Darkside, Darkside had The Reputation of being Cursed lands Having Weird Plants, Monsters and Deranged Heroes and Villains.... These Ponies Wanted to plant Crops in the Forest... but unfortunately The Forest itself was also alive and would try to smash these Earth Ponies when they tried to plant among them... Eventually The Terrain and lack of Food started Messing with their Minds some to the point of becoming Dependant on Meat... Including Ponibleism Forcing Princess Celestia and The Young Princess Luna To Act... Taking Guards with them they arrived in the Deranged Settlement expecting completely different... The letters Celestia was Receiving from them had sad they were flourishing and found a way to survive.... Celestia and Luna were sickenned by what they were seeing... These Misguided Creatures Feeding On Practically anything they can find to appease their appetite... Celestia wanted to help them... But upon their Arrival the Guards were Surprised By the Townsfolk Approaching with Aggressive intents With their Armor and Powerful Magic Celestia and Luna Had Driven the Dangerous Ponies From their Settlement Into the Forest that has been trying to kill them.... Lost in the Forest, Alone, and now Covered by the veil of Night the Town folk had started to ease off their relentless stalking of each other and stick together.... As they Wandered the seemingly sleeping Forest a Light appeared amongst the Trees... The Ponies Cautiously Approached a Man Carrying an Oil Lantern smiling at them...
He told them "I know you are afraid of this Forest because they are Monsters, But you need not worry my Dear Creatures cause the Light of My Lantern lets them know Who's Boss around these parts..... Welcome to Darkside my Pretty's Why don't you come with me... You can be Accepted.... Just Follow me." The Ponies followed him without question, Watching the Tree's seemingly Tremble away from the Lantern's light... as They walked The Man told them about the state of the world and how Creatures like them should not see themselves as Evil Bad or Freakish Creatures.... that they were just a new Breed.... and to embrace themselves....

They held onto his Every Word as they slithered behind him into the tree's being his Eternal Watching Eyes,

Abigail: *Purple Pony with Pale Blonde Hair* Originally a Cow Wrangler and Coop handler Before the big food Crises Abigail was seen as the Town's Unelected Mayor as A Lot of Decisions were asked from Her and had her Approval before they happened... Unfortunately She was one of the First to Succumb to Feral Hunger and had first Killed and Eaten her Chickens which gave her the taste for Blood she does now. She sports Twin Ponytails in her hair and her Cutie Mark is a Ram's Skull

Flint: *Blue Tall Pony with Crosseyes and Blonde Hair* Abigail's Older Sister Flint mostly took care of Bulls on their farm and Was Responsible for keeping them in Line... Being the Biggest Pony in the Town Flint earned a Reputation for being Bigger and Stronger than an Ox... Flint is not very Bright as her preferred Method of getting the Bulls in line other Than Lasso was Meet them Head on head to head.... Flint's Head was extremely Durable enough that people say butting heads with her is like a Flintlock Pistol going off at point Blank Range... Like Abigail she began to give in to her Feral instincts to look for Food, Killing one of the Bull's she's kept under control and Ate it. Flint is Headstrong but not very Mindstrong and is usually listening to Her Sister before anyone else Except the Sheppard. She Sports a Flintlock Pistol Cutie Mark.

Britny: *White Pony with Black hair and Tail* A Younger Belle of the Town Britny was a Daughter of the General Store, Always keeping up appearances before and during The Food Crisis she barely ate... and it became worse during the Crises enough to Drive the Poor girl into a Frenzy and Eating her own Father (Whom was also attempting to find a way to eat her) Britny is a flirt and is usually the first to seduce a new colt to town... but it is considered a Trap by the townsfolk... She sports an Eyeball Cutie Mark

Magnolia: *Magenta Pony with Sky Blue Mane* One of the Many Ponies of the Town trying to find a way to grow Food in the Forest Magnolia was used to the Tree's trying to harm her when she went to try... With her The Food Crises didn't Drive her mad... it was the Thought that no matter what she tried to do She couldn't plant anything without it being destroyed... With all her Resources constantly failing it started taking a toll on her mind as she slipped into madness she witnessed Abigail Eating The Farm's Chickens and after awhile began to see others doing similar things so she herself just does it because it's food... nothing else.... She is still quite intelligent despite her deranged Thought process... Her Cutiemark is a Magnolia with it's petals pointed back toward her tail.

Luanne: *Orange Pony With Green hair and Yellow Tail* Luanne has always been considered not right in the head even by the People she knows... Also known as Loony-Anne This one rarely speaks much and when she does she doesn't make much sense preferring to be a follower instead of a talker she was the First to meet the Sheppard.... and in a way avoided the Hunger.... but She embraced it later on when she had realized her Townsfolk did as well and when they Reunited at The Sheppard's Cabin... they had no reason to doubt each other, Luanne has a Tipped over Lantern as her Cutie Mark

Lady Gertrude: *Green Pony with White mane and Tail* Lady Gertrude is a Harlett who covets herself and her desires over most things, usually Not as eager to kill as the others but she is greedy and impulsive and has at times Stolen from others what she wants... Gertrude eventually gave in to her hunger When she Encountered Britny eating her Father and was offered to Share with her Best Friend. Gertrude's Cutie MArk Happens to Be a Machete




All 6 of these Deranged Ponies Are The Sheppards Eyes and Ears but he has many more... a Townsworth of Shadows in his Forest... Beware, These 6 are his Most Vicious.
